RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking to recruit experienced immigration Paralegals for our London office.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

• Legal casework in immigration law
• Attending clients, taking instructions and preparing cases
• Dealing with correspondence
• Maintaining billing and costing procedures
• Implementing any recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews ensuring that these are dealt with promptly.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
The immigration Paralegal must be registered with the Law Society as a IAAS Level 1 / 2 Caseworker and demonstrate a strong commitment and extensive expertise in all immigration matters; public and privately funded.

The successful immigration Paralegal must have:-
• A good academic background
• Legal experience as an immigration advisor.
• An ability to market the Company
• Business acumen
• Excellent IT skills
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience dealing with clients face to face and over the phone.
• Legal Experience in preparing immigration applications and dealing with complex immigration scenarios.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience working within immigration.
• A working understanding of PBS applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A strong understanding of MS office applications.

Position: Senior immigration Case Worker

Location: City of London

Experience: Level 2 accredited

Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Our client is actively seeking a new senior immigration case worker. Our client is prepared to offer training contract for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Undertake initial consultation.
Provide correct advice to clients.
Deal with all types of visa categories.
Advise, assess and collect relevant documents for immigration process.
Submit applications to the Home Office or other relevant authorities.
Liaise closely with other fee earners in the team and clients.
Manage and supervise junior members of the team.
Stay up-to-date with the latest relevant legislation and policy changes.
Undertake appeal work and representation at all levels from IAC First Tier Tribunal up to Supreme Court and beyond.
Comply and deliver within set deadlines.
You will have the ability to supervise your own caseload as well as the ability to build a client base and develop the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven immigration Experience In the Areas Set Out Below.
Proven Management or Supervisor Experience.
Deliver Highest Level of Service To All Clients.
IAAS Level 2 Preferred.
Ideally Be Based In London or Willing To Travel To London Office.
Multilingual Preferred but not essential.
Good Legal Writing And Drafting Skills / IT And Microsoft Office Literate.

Position: Supervising Solicitor (immigration law)

Our client is an internationally recognised law firm, based in the City of London.

Due to recent growth they are now seeking an experienced Supervising Solicitor to with keen business acumen to manage an existing team. As the first point of contact for the department you will report to the senior team on a regular basis.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

To meet potential clients during initial consultations and converting them. Increasing current conversion rates, continually monitor and recommend improvements in processes and first point of contact for staff.

The post is ideal for an experienced supervising solicitor seeking a new challenge within a dynamic and rapidly growing company that has built a reputation for providing exceptional immigration advice and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Day to day management of the immigration team ensuring they meet expected billing targets.
Ensure smooth running of the immigration department including overseeing marketing activities, talent sourcing for new recruits, compliance management and solicitor accounts.
Working cohesively and liaison with the legal cashier.
Provide correct advice to clients
Deal with all types of visa categories
Advise, assess and collect relevant documents for immigration process
Submit applications to the Home Office or other relevant authorities
Liaise closely with other fee earners in the team and clients
Manage and supervise junior members of the team
Stay up-to-date with the latest relevant legislation and policy changes

Instigate, and respond to any complaints in line with the Company’s complaints procedure.

REQUIREMENTS:

It is essential you possess 3 + year PQE in private immigration law both non-points based and business immigration/points based caseload.
Previous experience of managing a small team of fee-earners.

Ideally be based in London or willing to travel to London Office
