Hi, I'm Italian citizen acquired in 2011 and I'm living in UK since 2005. Since 2005 I was irregular but legalised myself in 2011. After living for 7 years legally in UK I applied for the British citizen and my questions is : I did not mention the first date I entered in UK because I remember the year only 2005 so in my application I put my second date when I arrived in UK because I know the day, month and year correctly. is this a problem to reject my British citizen if I was living in UK before illegally so in total I live in UK 13 years ?

Kind Regards,

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your Immigration enquiry.

For your British passport application, you are required to insert the date you entered the UK. If you cannot remember the exact date, the month and the year is generally permitted.

An Immigration solicitor will contact you shortly.
