Hi there. I am looking to enquire in regards to whether your legal services will be needed for my situation. I was born in England in 1995 to Irish parents who were both settled ( both working) in England at the time, and as EU citizens had right to remain permanently. When I was 4 they moved back to Ireland and I lived there until I moved to England for college this year. I never possesed a british passport and have had an irish one since childhood. I am interested in obtaining british citzenship in order to have dual irish/British nationality. If i understand correctly will I simply need to apply through Form NS "Confirmation of British nationality status" as I was born after 1983 to settled parents- or is there a different process?

Dear Sir,

Many thanks for your British nationality enquiry. As you were born in the UK in 1995 to parents with settled status in the UK, you may be eligible to apply for a British passport. We will require further information from you in order to advise you on your options.

Our immigration solicitors will contact you shortly.
