OTS Solicitors Ranked In The Legal 500

OTS Solicitors is proud to announce it has been ranked in the Legal 500.

It is almost unprecedented that a firm established only two and half years ago has made it into this prestigious publication.

Managing Partner, Oshin Shahiean, states, “The entire team is delighted to be ranked in the Legal 500 within such a short time.  We are committed to helping all our clients by providing immigration, family, employment, litigation, and corporate law services. We provide equally the highest standards of service and successful results to everyone who instructs us”.

Working with business, people, and the wider community

Since its inception in 2015, OTS Solicitors has been committed to providing quality immigration, commercial and family law advice to all sectors of society, from large corporates, couples facing divorce, to vulnerable migrants being held at detention centres across the country.

OTS Solicitors was set up by siblings, Oshin Shahiean and Teni Shahiean. Armenian migrants themselves, their parents arrived in the UK with less than £500 in their pockets and a few clothes, after escaping the Iran/Iraq war.  The family was granted refugee status and went on to establish successful businesses.

“Our parents’ hard work and success has been a huge influence on us, not only driving Teni and me to help others, but giving us the understanding that a strong work ethic and dedication to service is the best way to achieve results”, states Mr Shahiean, Cofounder and Managing Partner at OTS.

The entire team is focused on acquiring knowledge and furthering their skills.  As well as attending regular conferences and seminars, the firm has achieved a Law Society accreditation in immigration and asylum, and the head of the family law team, Rakhi Singal, is a member of Resolution.

OTS Solicitors is heavily involved in promoting access to justice, both locally and abroad.  Solicitors from the firm volunteer on a fortnightly basis at the Ealing Equality Council – ‘Community Advice Program’.  Paul Gulbenkian is the president of the European Immigration lawyers Group and firm partners, Teni Shahiean and Oshin Shahiean have worked extensively abroad assisting the organisation ‘Foundation Against the Violation of Law’, which works to advance human rights and democracy.

Moving forward

The firm is steadfast in continuing to support clients by providing a cross-section of legal advice in commercial, employment, immigration and family law.  business immigration clients who require a Sponsor Licence can also rely on the team to draft their commercial contracts and represent them if a dispute develops.  Our immigration and family law team collaborate to advise clients on foreign adoption, cross-jurisdictional divorce, and child abduction.

“Gaining a mention in the Legal 500 is only the beginning. Our vision is to continue to grow and influence changes in the law with the help of our team of solicitors, judges, and barristers.  We work to challenge the status quo, pushing the boundaries and providing solutions and outstanding results for every client we serve”.
