Vacancy: Graduate Marketing and Copywriter Internship

Job Type: Full time, 1 - 3 Months

Location: City of London

OTS Solicitors is offering an unpaid marketing and copywriter internship. The internship is normally full-time lasting 1-3 months.

Prospective Interns will have recently graduated and need not have completed the LPC or BPTC, but must have a demonstrable interest in law, news and politics. Above all, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual that is able to work under pressure and is keen to develop a practical working-knowledge of immigration law and marketing.

During the internship you will be required to assist solicitors, marketing team, and management with a variety of marketing tasks and copywriting tasks. We try to expose you to as much as possible to the day to day PR, online marketing, offline marketing, social media, marketing collateral and video marketing of the firm.

Occasionally assignments will also include talking to clients, understanding their needs from various channels, such as telephone enquiries, email enquiries, social media engagements, etc. During the internship you will be expected to use your initiative and creativity to produce copy for the firm's website and other collateral marketing material.

You will also be expected to contact clients and arranging meetings; dealing with a broad range of clients by telephone and face to face; our clients range from private individuals to multi-national corporations and you will be expected to responds appropriately to clients; ask questions to clarify, tailor language, tone, style and format to match audience; assist solicitors, marketing team and management with legal research; preparing copy, and design; and assisting generally within the immigration team with legal or marketing related tasks.
