OTS Solicitors Ranked And Ready For 2025
OTS Solicitors is getting ready for 2025 geared up by their 2024 success stories, 2025 Legal 500 rankings, growth in key and new legal areas and their raised profile with media outlets for getting key information out to them on developments in immigration, employment, family and landlord and tenant law.
The firm expects the next few months to be exceptionally busy with the changes in legislation and regulations brought in by the new government and the 2024 budget. However, that’s the way lawyers like it.
Here are some of the firm’s 2024 highlights:
- Ranked for 2025 in both Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession and Legal 500 – the two leading law directories
- In Legal 500 ranked in three areas; business immigration, individual or personal immigration and human rights services
- The business immigration team has spent 2024 honing their business immigration services on global migration planning and sponsorship licence securement, compliance and management with sector-specific focus in healthcare, restaurants and food supply, retail, tech and financial services sectors
- Not content with UK immigration expertise and growth, OTS Solicitors has launched a comprehensive US-bound immigration service, offering a full range of visa and immigration solutions to clients worldwide in response to the growing number of clients asking for US immigration advice. The firm expects to see rapid growth in this service as global UHNW and entrepreneurial clients look beyond the UK for relocation options providing a warm welcome to the UHNW, investors and innovators
- 2024 has seen significant growth and strategic thinking in the firm’s family law team with a focus on international families and their family law issues because of its UK and global immigration client base. So many aspects of family law are intrinsically linked to immigration so the focus is on integrated expertise in both areas of law. This streamlined family and immigration law experience was noted as a key strength in the Legal 500 ranking for immigration services. One client of OTS Solicitors told the Legal 500 Editorial commentary team that ‘The team's collaborative approach was also exceptional. They leveraged the diverse experiences and specialisations of individual lawyers, allowing for a comprehensive and well-rounded strategy.'
- The litigation and landlord and tenant department are rapidly expanding, earning a growing reputation for successful cases. The lawyers have become a trusted authority for numerous TV, radio, and newspaper organisations with the head of the landlord and tenant department featured in newspaper and magazine articles answering questions on landlord rights
Founded in 2014, OTS Solicitors is entering its second decade
OTS Solicitors was started by a family duo; sister and CEO, Teni Shahiean, and her brother and managing partner, Oshin Shahiean. Despite its rapid growth, the firm has retained a family-firm vibe whilst operating from City of London offices with a global client base.
When asked why OTS Solicitors works the lawyers and support staff look bemused as it just does. There is no rocket science behind its growth and success; just organic growth through two solicitors who wanted to be entrepreneurs combining old-fashioned family values of exceptional client service with a professional approach to the law and investment in IT and innovation.
A focus on tech is essential as OTS Solicitors do not get to meet many of their clients in person and when so many of their business immigration and corporate clients come from the tech and digital sectors.
The other thing that makes OTS Solicitors stand out across the firm and in its immigration and corporate work is its diversity. Where your lawyer comes from and their background should not matter. However, at OTS Solicitors, all the lawyers come from a variety of backgrounds and continents.
Moving continents with your business and family isn’t for the faint-hearted and that’s something OTS Solicitors understands. Whilst the solicitors may be advising on the technical aspects of setting up a company for a Self Sponsorship Visa they never forget that there is an entrepreneur, often with a spouse and children, relying on their expertise to get the new start underway. For the lawyers at OTS Solicitors helping a start-up feels personal, after all, they are only a decade ahead.
