Dear Mr Slater Mr Shahiean, It Possible To Bring Class Action Law Suit Or Judicial Review Against
Dear Mr Slater/ Mr Shahiean, Is it possible to bring a class action law suit or Judicial Review against the Home Office/British government for the mistreatment of the Windrush Generation and their descendants? The government scheme to recompense victims for mistreat is a farce. The bar to prove one's status is still too high and therefore people are finding it difficult to prove their case. The tariffs for compensation are too low, - how does one even prove distress- of losing one's home, job, being deported, mental and physical health.... the list goes on and on. The fact that only £330,000 has been paid out to 60 people out of a reported £220million pot, shows that the red-tape has been created to deny true justice.
