Hello,i Am Russian Citizen And My Husband Bulgarian Citizen We Have Lived Together For 5 Years And
Hello, I am Russian citizen and my husband is Bulgarian citizen. We have lived together for 5 years and recently applied for ILR for myself and permanent residence for him (we have genuinely lived together and our documentation for these 5 years is all in order). Now he is considering leaving to work in another country for a year. I would like to confirm if in order to get a British passport for myself (he is not much interested in getting one) we will still need to live at the same address after the ILR application. Or, once the first 5 years have past, I become independent in my status and can apply for my passport alone after having lived with ILR status for a year? Many thanks in advance!
