Hi I Moved To Uk In 2012 And Have Received Settled Status In 2019 As 18 Year Old I Have Certificate
Hi. I moved to UK in 2012 and have received a settled status in 2019 as a 18 year old. I have a certificate in English which I did in 2019 FCE C1-Cambridge English which does not expire, but it is no longer on the list of exams which are approved. However, on the government website its states:"Some recognised test qualifications only last for 2 years. You can still use a B1 level qualification that you took more than 2 years ago in 2 situations. You can use a B1 level qualification that’s run out if you’re applying for citizenship and it was accepted when you settled in the UK.It does not matter if the B1 level test you took is not on the current list of recognised tests. You do not need to take another test." Do you think I need to do another exams?Thank you,

Thanks for the enquiry. When you did the Settled Status application, there was no need to show that you have passed the English Test and now for the citizenship application you would need to show that you have passed it. In your situation, yes, you must take the test.We suggest that you phone our office on 0203 959 9123 to book an initial meeting to discuss your matter.
