I've experienced what I believe to be unlawful deductions from my wages, as well as my other colleagues having experienced this as well. I also believe the reasoning behind the deductions breaches the terms of the contract. I have contacted acas and the advice I was given was simply that I can get advice from a solicitor who will know more of the legality behind a potential case. If you would be willing to contact me back, I would be more than willing to go into my situation more and explore whether going down the route of a tribunal or going to count court. There is also the matter of my employers not meeting many health and safety requirements within the workplace, and not providing minimum requirements for the employees.
